AUSTIN - Legislation to move Angelo State University into the Texas Tech University system this morning passed the Senate Education Committee unanimously.   House Bill 3564 by Rep. Drew Darby, R-San Angelo, and Sen. Robert Duncan, R-Lubbock, was approved for the Senate’s Local Calendar. 4 Texas Senate Passes Super Precinct Voting Legislation
AUSTIN - Legislation to extend the super precinct voting pilot project has passed the Texas Senate.   Senate Bill 836 by Sen. Robert Duncan, R-Lubbock, will enable qualifying counties to conduct their next election cycles with “super precincts," also called county-wide voting.
