Senator Robert Duncan has been a leader in the Texas Senate since 1996, when he won a special election to represent District 28. During the past 12 years, he has written bills to protect fairness in the legal system, ensure quality education, and enhance the economic viability of West Texas.

Senator Duncan has earned a coveted spot on the Senate Finance Committee each legislative session dating back to 2001. This committee addresses crucial statewide issues impacting all Texans. He is also a member of the Senate Natural Resources Committee and the Senate Jurisprudence Committee.
